Morning! Christmas has officially stopped knocking and is now kicking the door in. Winterfolk is turning The Nest into a festive hive of makers, mulled drinks and people pretending they’re only browsing. Metronome is hosting a comedy night with a lineup strong enough to leave you wheezing, and Peter Kay is back on stage reminding everyone why he broke ticket records without breaking a sweat.

Winterfolk drops into The Nest and turns an old warehouse into a full festive day out. More than forty makers pack the place with ceramics, prints, woodwork, felted creatures and gifts that make the high street look half-asleep. There is street food, mulled wine, live entertainment and even a dog portrait artist who will absolutely steal the show. Workshops run through the day if you fancy getting hands on, and the whole setup has that cosy buzz that makes you stay longer than planned.
