Things to do in Nottingham this week including: Nottingham Restaurant Week & a Swanky New Indian Brunch Spot!

Morning Nottingham! Restaurant Week is here, your jeans are trembling, and Passans just opened with brunch so posh it probably comes with a butler. EM-Con’s bringing the capes and chaos, there’s naan-topped Bloody Marys flying about, and more food tours than your stomach’s ready for.

From pizza pilgrimages to Gary Barlow belters, it’s a week of full-on flavour, sequins, and absolutely no time for meal prep.

🗓️ WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK?

🍽️ – Nottingham Restaurant Week – Deals, Dough & Loosened Waistbands
📍 – All over Nottingham City Centre
📅 – Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th June
📷 – @itsinnottingham

It’s back — the week where you can eat like royalty and still afford your gas bill. Over 50 spots are knocking out banging deals from £10 to £30: sushi, curry, pizza, posh brekkies, the lot.

There are food tours too, if you fancy pretending you're on MasterChef while shovelling in tiramisu with strangers. It’s like a pub crawl, but tastier and with fewer regrets.

🍔 - SCRUMPTIOUS SCOOP

🍛 – Passans – French Toast for Breakfast, Curry Leaf Negronis by Night
📍 – Upstairs at Bombay Deli, Carrington Street
⏰ – Tue-Sun: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
📷 – @passans_

Newly opened and already causing a stir (and not just in the chai), Passans is Nottingham’s lush new Indian restaurant where brunch, high chai, and late-night cocktails all share the same postcode.

Think pistachio-stuffed French toast, makhani shakshuka, and lamb shank so good it might make you cry. Cocktails come with garam masala sass and even the Bloody Mary’s topped with a mini garlic naan.

It’s Soho meets spice cupboard, and every inch of it is stunning — from the marble bar to the Maharaja doors. Book a table. Wear stretchy trousers.

🎭- ACTIVITY ALLEY

🚂 – Victoria Station at 125 – Steam, Stories & Seaside Getaways
📍 – South Square, Victoria Centre (outside Boots & Next)
📅 – All week

Long before Victoria Centre was all bubble tea and teen TikTokers, it was home to a glorious steam-powered station. To mark 125 years since it opened, there’s a cracking little exhibition packed with old photos, posters, railway gear and tales from the tracks.

Whether you’re into history, heavy metal (the train kind), or just fancy a mooch while the kids eye up Greggs, it’s a lovely little slice of Nottingham’s past. No booking, no queues, no delays – for once.

🎭 - FRESH EXPERIENCES

🦸 – EM-Con 2025 – Celebs, Capes & Full-On Geek Glory
📍 – Motorpoint Arena
📅 – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June
🎟️ – Tickets from £17.50
📷 – @nottinghamarena

Nottingham’s biggest nerd fest is back — with celebrity guests, photo ops, light sabres, zombies, and more capes than a Batman family reunion. Cosplayers are out in full force, stalls are stacked with stuff you never knew you needed, and the energy? Pure Comic-Con chaos.

Whether you're there to meet a childhood icon or just spot Darth Vader queueing for chips, this one’s an absolute belter. Family-friendly, slightly feral, and 100% brilliant.
