Things to do this week: 100 Beers at the Castle, a Pagan Market and Nottinghamshire's Biggest Weekly Market!

Also this week, a free pagan market at Sneinton with over 100 traders on Saturday, a recently opened Caribbean deli worth knowing about, and a bus garage in Chilwell that's become Nottinghamshire's biggest weekly market.

Robin Hood robbed the rich to give to the poor. This weekend, 12 local breweries are giving over 100 beers to anyone with a ticket, which is a different kind of redistribution but arguably more popular. Blue Monkey, Neon Raptor, Castle Rock, Magpie and Shipstone's are all pouring, several launching brand new beers for the occasion because apparently the existing ones needed company.
Street food, ciders and live music around the bandstand. Ticket includes a reusable cup. The castle has no complaints.

A recently opened Caribbean deli in Sneinton Market, started by two Nottingham locals who moved back from London and couldn't find the kind of Caribbean food they were looking for. So they built it themselves, which is either the most Nottingham response possible or just a very good business decision. Both, probably.
On the menu: curry mutton sandos, jerk pork sandos, jerk short rib sandos, boneless jerk chicken and patties.
